2-step is not a style of dnb. when referred to as a genre, 2-step is just short for 2 step garage. but it's definately not house.

i see your point though. the 2-step beat is just a name for a beat with a specific placement of the kick and snare (snares on 2 and 4, kick on 1 and the third 16th note of the third beat) that has become extremely prevalent (and arguably overused) in jungle/dnb music. i think the beats are finally moving away from that though, with the use of breaks again and the 'hardcore revival' by the likes of dylan, total science, ink, etc.

thank god .. i fell out of love with jungle b/c most of it was repetative tech-step and over used hoover bass. It was getting to the point where the only place you could still here jungle snare rolls was in hardcore . . . love that classic jungle beat

Why not just groove. None of that labeling......"I nordiktrack" or "I 2-Step"......I just let my body groove to the music. The thing is staying and beat and dancing like ya gots stee!!!!

i seriously have no idea what any of these styles are.. i mean.. the norditrack thing is obvious.. and liquid n popping are well known.. but when i see someone dancin i don't ask em.. 'uhh.. what do you call that..?' heh.. i dunno.. candy walking..? merry go rounding..? err.. i don't really have a name for the way i dance.. or for the style i like.. but it's like this liquid/spinning/popping/seductive/freestyle/makeyouwannadance style.. heh..
umm.. pole dancing..?

My favorite style of dancing? my own! j/p, Groovin~! freestyle!
I always have a big smile on though always! thats my style, always enjoy myself I just enjoy dancing period! .
Well my style depends on who im battling with and what type music im listening to, i always tend to follow their rhytm and try to feed off their energy!(try to match, it looks better that way) i like dancing with ppl that give out good vibes and hate dancers that are way too serious to have fun. Sometimes i try to mix it up too much that it looks sloppy! ha ha ha i heard it from one of my friends, Well im happy he told me and he said i should just stick to one style but i like having variety(excluding nordi-track, candy walking and glowsticks sorry

).
Someone posted sumthing about house music, that its the type of music where u could use different styles to express urself and i think its totally true. I think im done so buh bye.
